How to Get Started

Starting an Advanced Insurance Management® review of your firm's Workers' Compensation insurance premium charges is relatively easy. We try to minimize the amount of time and effort an employer has to devote to this process, so it's not a major undertaking on the part of your staff. First of all consider whether or not you prefer this review to be done on a contingent-fee basis or an hourly rate. On the AIM contingent-fee basis, there is no charge by AIM unless and until we actually produce a refund or reduction for your company. Such refunds and/or reductions must be due to the efforts of AIM and not something that your firm would have received without our involvement. If we produce such a refund or reduction, we split it 50/50. (That's a lower percentage for AIM than is charged by some other Workers' Comp premium review consultants, by the way.) If you prefer, AIM is available to work on an hourly rate basis of $300 per hour. We've also recently added what we call our hybrid billing approach. We call it a hybrid because it combines aspects of the contingent approach with the hourly rate approach. In this billing mode, AIM bills a reduced hourly rate of $150 per hour, but with the provision of a contingent bonus payment upon the successful recovery of overcharges equal to 25% of the recovery. Once you choose which compensation approach you wish to utilize, we would ask that the appropriate agreement be completed by an officer of the company who has authority to enter into such agreements, and then forward it to A.I.M. Remember that on the hourly rate arrangement, A.I.M. will be paid for our time whether or not we can find or produce a refund or reduction. But also keep in mind that A.I.M. normally earns a larger fee ultimately if we do succeed in producing a refund or reduction than we would have earned on the hourly-rate agreement. The next step is the provide us with the documents and information we need to perform the Advanced Insurance Management® review of your Workers' Comp premium charges. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any of this in greater detail. We try to keep the time and effort that required of a client to a minimum, but at the outset a little effort is required to provide the necessary information and documentation for us to review your Workers' Comp charges and determine if we can produce a refund or reduction for your company. |
